About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for the post-sales technical lifecycle, including detailed implementation, hands-on deployment, site testing, client onboarding, and escalation support. You will bridge the gap between initial sales handovers and long-term operational stability, ensuring that enterprise network installations meet design specifications and SLA requirements.
What you'll do
- Network Infrastructure Deployment: Plan, supervise, and execute passive infrastructure installations, including structured copper/fiber cabling, racks, patch panels, containment, labeling, grounding, and physical layer testing in compliance with applicable standards.
- Network Implementation & Configuration: Configure and deploy enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure, including VLANs, routing, STP, inter-VLAN routing, OSPF/BGP, security policies, and Wi-Fi optimization.
- Project Handover & Commissioning: Take project handovers from Pre-Sales/Solutions Architecture teams, review BOMs and LLDs, execute deployments, conduct UAT with clients, and ensure successful project commissioning and sign-off.
- Technical Documentation & Asset Management: Prepare and maintain network topology diagrams, rack elevations, IP addressing schemes, configuration records, asset details, and standard operating/runbook documentation.
- Post-Sales Support & Escalation: Provide technical support during warranty/hyper-care periods, troubleshoot complex network issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and coordinate with vendors/TAC teams for technical escalations, RMAs, firmware updates, and resolution.
What we're looking for
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certifications:
- o Active Networking: Cisco CCNA / CCNP (Enterprise/Routing & Switching), Fortinet NSE 1+, or equivalent vendor credentials.
- o Passive Infrastructure: Certified Structured Cabling Specialist (e.g., Schneider, VIVANCO, CORNING and 3M or equivalent).
- Technical Experience:
- o 3+ years of experience in post-sales, deployment, or network integration roles.
- o Hands-on expertise with fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and structured copper cabling standards.
- o Hands-on proficiency with CLI configuration for enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
- Soft Skills: Strong client-facing communication, technical writing, problem-solving, and cross-functional team coordination.
