About the role
• Provide technical Pre-Sales support to the Channel Sales team and partners/resellers. • Strong focus on TP-Link networking solutions, including Switching, Wi-Fi, Routers, Omada and related solutions. • Understand customer/partner requirements and prepare appropriate technical solutions, BOMs, proposals and quotations. • Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations and partner enablement sessions. • Support Channel Sales in partner/customer meetings and technical discussions. • Provide technical comparison and positioning against competing brands. • Develop solution designs for networking and network security infrastructure. • Coordinate with OEMs/distributors for product specifications, sizing and technical clarification. • Support RFPs/RFQs, tenders and technical documentation. • Servers and Storage knowledge will be considered an added advantage.
What we're looking for
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant technical certifications will be an added advantage.
- Required Experience:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT Networking / Pre-Sales / Technical Sales.
- Experience in Channel/Distribution environment will be preferred.
- Relevant Technical Experience:
- The candidate should have practical knowledge of:
- Networking – Switching, Routing, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN
- TP-Link / Omada solutions – preferably hands-on experience
- Network Security / Security Infrastructure
- Firewall and related security solutions
- Network solution designing, BOM preparation and sizing
- Technical proposals and solution presentations
- Knowledge of Servers & Storage will be a plus.
- Skills & Certifications:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage technically with resellers, partners and end customers.
- Good understanding of OEM product portfolios and competitive products.
- Ability to work closely with Channel Sales for business development.
- CCNA, TP-Link/Omada certification or equivalent networking/security certifications will be an added advantage.
